2. Patient Responsibilities

As a patient of Maison Dentists, you agree to:

  • Adhere to Treatment Plans: Follow the treatment plans and instructions provided by our dental professionals.

  • Comply with Office Policies: Abide by all office policies and procedures, including those outlined in these Terms.

  • Maintain Lawful Conduct: Conduct yourself in a lawful, respectful, and appropriate manner while on our premises. Any abusive, disruptive, or unlawful behavior will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of services.

  • Dress Code: For the comfort and safety of all patients and staff, we require patients to wear shirts, pants or shorts, and footwear while on our premises.

3. Appointments and Cancellations

  • Scheduling: Appointments can be scheduled by phone, in-person, or through our online scheduling system (if applicable).

  • Confirmation: We may send appointment reminders via text message or other communication methods.

  • Cancellation Policy: We require at least 24 hours' notice for any appointment cancellation or rescheduling. If you fail to provide 24 hours' notice or do not show up for your appointment, a cancellation or no-show fee may be applied to your account. This fee helps us cover the costs associated with unused appointment times and ensures other patients can access timely care.

4. Payment Policies

  • Fees for Services: You are responsible for all fees associated with the dental services provided to you. Our fees reflect the cost of materials, professional time, and overhead.

  • Insurance: We will assist you in filing claims with your dental insurance provider (e.g., Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield). However, you understand that your insurance policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company, and you are ultimately responsible for any portion of the bill not covered by insurance.

  • Payment Due Dates:

    • Same-Day Services: For any same-day services provided (e.g., routine fillings, extractions not part of a long-term plan), payment in full is required before the service is rendered.

    • Orthodontic Care: Patients receiving orthodontic care (e.g., braces, Invisalign) may be eligible for a payment plan. Such plans will be outlined in a separate, written financial agreement specific to your orthodontic treatment. Adherence to the payment plan terms is required.

  • Accepted Payment Methods: We accept various payment methods, which will be communicated at the time of service or billing.

  • Overdue Accounts: Overdue accounts may be subject to late fees and collection efforts, as permitted by law.

5. Patient Communication and Messaging Consent

  • By providing us with your phone number and texting our designated number to consent to messaging, you agree to receive text messages from Maison Dentists. These messages may include appointment reminders, scheduling updates, treatment-related information, billing inquiries, and other communications relevant to your dental care.

  • Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

  • You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any message or by contacting our office directly. Please note that opting out of text messages may impact your ability to receive timely appointment reminders.
